We have used many of these websites in our own legal research and they have proved to be extremely useful resources on women’s rights law (most of them can also be used for related research on gender based violence/ crimes against women).


The Judgement Information System
The Judgments Information system consists of the Judgments of the Supreme court of India and several High Courts.

Cornell University Law School Legal Resources
This site has a detailed section on gender-based violence case law.

European Court of Human Rights
All the judgments made by the European Court of Human Rights are available on this site.

Global Justice Center: CEDAW Case Bank
This site has a small selection of issue-based case law.

International Centre for Legal Protection of Human Rights: Commonwealth and International Human Rights Case Law Database
Although this database does not have a wide selection of case law, the samples provided are conveniently organized based on country of origin.

Westlaw
This comprehensive database is an effective tool for legal research.

Women’s Link Worldwide
This organization has a lot of information on case law pertaining to women’s justice issues.
